PRODUCT DETAILS
Roll Labels have not been approved for direct contact with food. Do not apply roll labels to already frozen materials.
Our labels and finishes provide protection from moisture, abrasion, scratches, and harsh conditions.
All of our labels have permanent adhesives, and can be applied at temperatures as low as 25+F, with a service temperature range of -60+F to +200+F.
Wind position is an industry term that indicates how the rolls of labels are produced so that the labels dispense in the right direction off the roll at the time of application. It is important to specify a wind position when the labels are going to be applied to an end product by machine (not by hand). This ensures that the applicator receives and dispenses the labels in the correct orientation for the container.
Labels are wound onto 3" cores. This is an industry standard and should work for most applications. Typically, the core size only matters when a label is being applied by an automated labeling dispenser. We suggest you verify a 3" core will work with your application prior to ordering.
When creating your file, press gain is not an issue and there are no trapping requirements. Overprinting is used in traditional means of printing but is not necessary when printing digitally. Do not create files with overprinting attributes. These attributes will often change the appearance of the final product.
The roll label will need to be un-rolled a few layers before the printed product is revealed.
Please note that due to the fact that we print in large volumes, different paper types may have different quantity options.
PAPER STOCKS
All of our paper stocks are premium, so no matter what you order, we're sure you will be pleased with your high-quality product.
White BOPP Label
This is a white, gloss, polypropylene material (film) and is suitable for most applications. It is .0026" thick and is backed with a general purpose, permanent adhesive. This material is resistant to water and oils and is particularly suitable for bath and body products as well as food containers. Since it is not 100% opaque, it will not cover any surface with high-contrast text, unless you utilize dark ink for your labels.
*BOPP stands for Biaxially-Oriented Polypropylene
Clear BOPP Label
This is a clear polypropylene material (film). It is resistant to water and oils and is particularly suitable for bath and body products as well as food containers. This label is .002" thick and backed with a general purpose, permanent adhesive. Since it's clear, only the printed text/graphics appear, and not the label itself, making this label suitable for window applications.
*BOPP stands for Biaxially-Oriented Polypropylene
White Textured Label (Matte)
This material is matte, white, and textured. A great option for wine labels, gourmet foods and beverages. It is a durable material with a permanent adhesive, but not as durable or water-resistant as BOPP.
White Vinyl Label (Glossy)
This is a gloss White Vinyl Label material (film). It is .0034" thick and backed with a general purpose, permanent adhesive. This is a very durable material suitable for outdoor applications, as it provides resistance against different weather conditions. This material is more opaque than White BOPP Label, but it may not be opaque enough to cover any surface with high-contrast text, unless you utilize dark ink for your labels.
White Removable Label
This is a glossy white polypropylene film. It is .0024" thick and has a removeable acrylic water-based adhesive, which provides adequate long-term removability from a wide variety of hard, yet smooth surfaces. This label is a great option for surfaces such as glass or stainless steel and is most commonly used as an oil change sticker.
Clear Removable Label
This material is a transparent, glossy polypropylene film. It is .002" thick with an acrylic topcoat and a removable adhesive, which provides adequate long-term removability from a wide variety of hard, yet smooth surfaces. This label is a great option for surfaces such as glass or stainless steel and is most commonly used as an oil change sticker.
